These policies apply to every mobile app and web app published by Vetraluna LLC ("Vetraluna," "we," "us"), a New Jersey limited liability company, including Troyvale and Gem Bench (together, the "Apps"). Where an App works differently, the section for that App says so.
Our Apps save your work on your own device so it is there next time you open the App. In Troyvale this includes customer names or labels you type, quote and invoice numbers, item descriptions and weights, saved quotes, custom metal prices and your display settings. In Gem Bench it is limited to your recently used stones and preferred cut. This information is stored only in the App's local storage on your device. It is never sent to Vetraluna, and we cannot see, access or recover it.
When you export, share, print or email a quote, the App hands it to your device's own share sheet, print service or email app. Where it goes after that is your choice and is governed by the app or service you pick, not by Vetraluna.
Gem Bench works entirely offline and makes no network requests. Troyvale downloads current precious-metal prices from gold-api.com. These requests contain no personal information from the App, but like any internet request they reveal your device's IP address to that service. Its handling of that information is governed by its own policies. Our Apps contain no other third-party software development kits for advertising, analytics or tracking.
Apple (App Store) and Google (Google Play) may collect information about your download and use of Apps under their own privacy policies. We do not control that collection.
Our Apps are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
You can delete individual saved quotes inside the App at any time. Deleting the App from your device permanently removes everything it stored. Because we do not hold your data, there is nothing for us to export, correct or delete on our side, but you are welcome to contact us with any privacy question.
Depending on where you live (for example, California, New Jersey or the European Union), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or opt out of the sale of your personal information. Vetraluna does not sell or share personal information and does not collect it through our Apps, so these rights are satisfied by the controls on your own device. Contact us if you would like to make a request.
Your information is protected by your device's own security, such as its passcode and encryption. Keep your device locked if quotes contain customer details.
If we change how our Apps handle information, we will update this page and its effective date before the change takes effect. If an App ever begins collecting personal information, we will say so here and, where required, ask for your consent first.
By downloading or using an App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to accept these Terms. If you use an App for a business, you accept these Terms on behalf of that business and confirm you have authority to do so.
Vetraluna grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Apps on devices you own or control, for your personal or internal business use. You may use the App's results in your own work, including quotes you give to customers.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent or sublicense the Apps; decompile, reverse engineer or extract their source code, except as the law expressly allows; remove copyright or trademark notices; or use the Apps or their names to build or market a competing product.
The Apps, including their code, design, text, graphics and coin, purity and gemstone reference data, are owned by Vetraluna LLC and protected by copyright and other laws. "Troyvale," "Gem Bench," "Vetraluna" and their logos are trademarks of Vetraluna LLC. Coin and bullion names that appear in the Apps belong to their respective mints and owners and are used only to identify those products. Their use does not imply any endorsement.
Prices in Troyvale come from third-party sources that we do not control. Prices may be delayed, interrupted or wrong. When live prices are unavailable, the App shows the last price it received or reference prices bundled with the App, and labels them as such.
The Apps and all prices, calculations and reference data are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Apps will be error-free or uninterrupted.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vetraluna LLC and its members will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or business, arising from your use of or inability to use the Apps, including any purchase, sale or price decision made using them. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Apps is limited to the amount you paid for the App, if any, or $50, whichever is greater.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
You are responsible for how you use the App's results, for verifying weights and fineness, and for complying with laws that apply to your business, including any licensing, record-keeping or reporting rules for buying precious metals and secondhand goods.
The Apps are tools only. Vetraluna is not a buyer, seller, dealer, broker, appraiser, assayer, pawnbroker or agent, and is not a party to any purchase, sale, trade, loan, consignment, quote, invoice or other dealing between you and anyone else, including your customers ("Transactions"). Any Transaction is solely between you and the other party. You alone are responsible for its terms, the prices you offer or accept, payment, delivery, taxes, recordkeeping, identity checks and legal compliance. Vetraluna does not verify any item, person or price and makes no guarantee about any Transaction. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release Vetraluna LLC and its members, managers and agents from all claims, losses and damages arising from or connected with any Transaction or any dispute with a third party.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Vetraluna LLC and its members, managers, employees and agents from and against any claims, demands, liabilities, damages, losses, costs and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from or relating to (a) your use of the Apps or their results, (b) any Transaction, quote, invoice or representation you make to anyone, (c) your breach of these Terms, or (d) your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.
If you downloaded an App from the Apple App Store, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. These Terms are between you and Vetraluna only, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content, has no obligation to provide maintenance or support, and is not responsible for any claims relating to the App. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. If you downloaded an App from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply.
We may update the Apps and these Terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated Terms. We may suspend or end your license if you break these Terms. Sections 3 through 9, 12 and 13 survive termination.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Disclaimer on this page, are the entire agreement between you and Vetraluna about the Apps. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, that part will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted and the rest will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, sale or reorganization.
Troyvale is a calculator, not an appraisal, an offer or financial advice.
Gem Bench is a reference and estimation tool, not a gemological report or identification.
